Michaels

As Michaels UX/UI Designer I provided research, competitive analysis, prototypes, concepts, mock-ups, UX and UI design, and dev notes from start to finish on set features.

My main features were the integration of Private Label Credit Cards to cart and checkout (PLCC), Landing pages, assisting the UX team on the rebrand launched in January 2023. We focused on providing breakpoints including 1440 desktop, 1024 desktop, 640 tablets, 375 mobile, and Native App.

Create Account Redesign

Previous Design

This design is currently live. Some of the pain points I focused on to solve were;

Problem 1: Lengthy sign-up process
Problem 2: Data Clean-up
Problem 3: User confusion for rewards account created in-store
Problem 4: Friction for linking rewards using “I Signed up in Store” option

Updated UX/UI Design for Create Account

For this redesign, I ultimately touched all aspects of create account including create account flow new user, user signed up in-store, and all entry points. Designs were created for Web Mobile/Desktop and Mobile App. We reduced the lengthy forms and duplicated input fields that caused confusion to our users to improve Data clean-up. We eliminated the friction for linking rewards by updating the Sign Up In Store UX/UI.
